Pzena Investment Management increased stake in Motorcar Parts of America, Inc.

(investing.com) – On the 31st of December, Pzena Investment Management bought 149 thousand Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. (MPAA) shares for $2.9 million at an average price of $19.62 per share. Shares of Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. are down -22.53% since the transaction.

Pzena Investment Management’s holding in Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. increased to about 2 million shares with the purchase.

Pzena Investment Management first bought Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. stock in the fourth quarter of 2018. Pzena Investment Management also owns Lear Corp (NYSE:LEA) and Dana Holding Corp (NYSE:DAN). Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. is its number three position by number of shares and market value among automobile parts stocks.

Other investors who also added to their Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. shares include Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management. Contrary to Pzena Investment Management, Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss, Citigroup (NYSE:C), and Victory Capital Management reduced MPAA shares, while Millennium Management sold all their MPAA shares.

Pzena Investment Management also reduced their share in Hooker Furniture Corporation (NASDAQ:HOFT) and JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. (NYSE:JELD). The total value of the shares sold is estimated at around $92 million.

In addition, Pzena Investment Management added to their share in National Oilwell Varco Inc (NYSE:NOV), Avnet Inc (NASDAQ:AVT) and PVH Corp (NYSE:PVH). The total value of the shares bought is estimated at around $400 million.
